In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and create a one-of-a-kind cotton tote bag using fresh flowers and foliage as your medium. Using a technique called flower pounding, you’ll hammer the blooms directly into the fabric, transferring their natural colors and patterns for a beautifully botanical effect. 🌸 Want to make it extra personal? Feel free to bring flowers from your own garden to incorporate into your design! In this workshop, you’ll: • Design a custom tote bag with wildflowers and foliage • Use flower pounding techniques to transfer your design to fabric • Experiment with flower pounding on paper for additional keepsakes Included supplies: • Fresh flowers and greenery • Tools for flower pounding • One cotton tote bag per participant Leave with a nature-inspired tote that’s both beautiful and useful—plus a new appreciation for the art that blooms all around you.
