Break some plates, get creative, and create a piece filled with meaning! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a beautiful blue-and-white mosaic fish shadowbox using pieces of patterned china. Fish have long been symbols of abundance, prosperity, and good fortune, making this a beautiful piece to bring a little positive energy into your home. You’ll break your own plates (the fun part!), choose your favorite pieces, and arrange them into two unique fish swimming in opposite directions. No mosaic experience needed—we’ll guide you through the entire process. Because the adhesive needs at least 24 hours to set before grouting, your creation will stay with us after class.
